Saviant expands Leadership team, appoints VP(Marketing & Sales), for global expansion & growth

14 August - Pune, India – Saviant Consulting announces onboarding of industry veteran Amit Dangle to its Leadership team, as Vice President of Marketing & Sales. With over 17 years of experience, Amit has a proven record of facilitating long term business relationships with customers and partners globally. In his new role at Saviant, Amit will drive the Sales and Marketing strategies, working closely with customers, driving growth with strategic partners, and growing Saviant’s reach in its focus markets.

Amit is a well-known figure in the IT industry, who has led teams in building world’s first solar powered handheld device and managing India’s then largest smartcard implementation project.

Amit Dangle comes to Saviant from renowned Engineering firm Persistent Systems, where he served as the head of Business Development and subsequently, Head of Marketing for its largest Business Unit. He holds a Bachelors of Engineering and Masters in Management from Mumbai University. Amit is active with industry organizations like Computer Society of India (CSI), Hinjewadi Industries Association (HIA) and "IoT for All" forum.
